Four days after writing the last blog post, we packed up our bags and headed to NYC. We had emailed a listing in NYC and considered it a longshot...then waited...until Sunday night. That's when she contacted us, we skyped and 12 hours later were on the road! Another miracle occurred when our friend who had offered to drive us had 4 hours to get four days worth of shifts covered for two jobs, and it happened! Then, the L-rd provided a heads up on a very inexpensive and very nice Mennonite owned motel in Maryland to stay halfway. And, the miracle that had kept Tim awake and stressed him out...all our boxes fit in the SUV. So, we're here thanks to your support (thanks to all you who gave up your guest rooms and for all you who were praying for us) and G-d's provision. I watched this video with a close friend of mine who used to live in the the city, and he says that he loves the video and thinks that you guys are perfect for his beloved city -adventurous, and just the right amount of hipsterishiness ;)
