oh, that day.

America's day of love. Tim and I decided not to celebrate Valentine's Day yesterday, for a few reasons. One was we wanted to focus on Christ, as we recognize we cannot love without Him. Christ loved us first, therefore we can love. Another was because Tim is taking me to Louisville's Actor's Theatre to see the production 'Ella' on Wednesday. It's a tribute to the amazing Ella Fitzgerald, and we're making the evening into a nice little date.

Little did i know, Tim did have flowers ready for me. As he handed them to me yesterday morning, an overwhelming mixture of emotions ran up from my stomach to my throat, resulting in a strange yet joyful reaction i could not hold back. I guess you can never go wrong with flowers, not matter how fleeting they are...(but these weren't just any flowers, he put the arrangement together himself!) Here i share them with you, as well as a photo to give him a bit more credit, just in case you see him making coffee one day this week.
